Jose leads the clinical direction of Crescantz Health.

His responsibilities span quality, patient safety, clinical governance, medical staff leadership, clinical standards, technology-enabled care and the development of specialty programs and Centers of Excellence.

Experience
Jose is a board-certified pediatrician and physician executive with more than 20 years of experience across clinical care, medical education, patient safety, quality improvement and healthcare leadership.
​
He spent nearly a decade with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education's Clinical Learning Environment Review program, ultimately serving as a national team lead. Through that work, he participated in assessments and executive discussions across more than 200 teaching hospitals, academic medical centers and health systems.
​
Earlier, at the University of Florida College of Medicine–Jacksonville and Wolfson Children's Hospital, he combined clinical practice with medical education, research, quality improvement and patient-safety leadership.
​
His career has consistently sat at the point where clinical standards have to move from policy into everyday practice.
